I'll be honest, I have no idea what people write about in these things, but I'm determined not to begin with a long winded rant about Etsy. I think if I start down that road it might morph into something akin to Ron's screamer mail in Hogwarts, so I'll leave that for another time. Suffice to say, the years of Etsy trapping me behind the bike sheds and stealing my dinner money are coming to an end. I'm moving on! I'm a grown up now, allegedly.
I'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported me, suggested designs, laughed at my terrible puns and bought stuff from me over the years. You made this brand new store possible, and for that I will be eternally grateful.

For the next few months my Etsy shop will stay active, while I establish this new store and hopefully coax my lovely customers from there to here.
If you're worried about buying from a brand new store, I do have a tonne of reviews you can check out at StormseyeDesign.etsy.com while it's still up. I also have a long established Facebook page where you can chat to some of my customers... most of them are quite bonkers, but they're generally lovely people. I've been scammed myself recently (damn it) and I also caught a bunch of immoral scumbags stealing my artwork and selling crappy quality reproductions of my T-shirts, so I share your suspicion of newly created sites! (My products are only available from me, so if you see any suspiciously cheap versions floating around please avoid them like the plague.) If you have any questions, please email me, I'll be happy to answer them.
As for my new store - brand new crazy designs will be added regularly, if you subscribe to my mailing list you'll see the new ones as they go up.
I currently have my marketing restricted to 'only when subscribed' because I don't want to bombard anyone with junk mail. Needless to say, Google is disgusted and Shopify is continually asking me 'are you SURE?' like they think I'm insane. Hopefully I will be able to establish myself without binning all my principles. I'm certainly going to try!
